In May 2007, ICLEI-A/NZ will host an international gathering of leaders in local government, ICLEI Campaigns and sustainable development from the Oceania region.

As local governments around the world lead the charge towards sustainability, this event will focus on strengthening council's capacity for effective and lasting action.

It will capture the conversation of how local governments are progressing the agenda through our campaigns and provide a road map for how the sector can create the partnerships, leadership and the vision required for this change to occur over the next decade.

If you are:

• ICLEI-A/NZ members, and campaign and project participants (including councillors and officers)
• Managers from state and federal/central government agencies
• Representatives of local governments, related associations, community groups/NGOs, Catchment Management Authorities, regional councils, energy utilities, water regulators, private sector groups, or have some other interest in sustainable local governments.
