This Sustainable Industries Networking Session facilitates networking between industries and businesses with council staff to identify how a suitable product or service can assist with implementation of council actions.
It is intended that industries and businesses highlighted will include water efficient technology, renewable energy, recycling and waste minimisation, alternative transport, high performance building approaches and overall those that promote clean green approaches.
The session will be followed by the launch of the Sustainable Industries Exhibition and Welcome Reception hosted by the City of Melbourne. The session cost and welcome reception are included in the delegate fee. Go to Registration Page

The Sustainable Industries Networking Session is designed to match our leading councils encountering challenges that could be problem solved through networking and engaging with sustainable industries and businesses.
Councils are asked to give us their Frequently Asked Questions councils have that can be answered by a green technology service or product.

What technologies could assist councils to effectively and efficiently water their sports fields? Councils want to meet specialist water businesses that can provide a technology based solution.
Councils are retrofitting administration buildings and need access to building specialists who can provide case studies on how they introduced energy, water and other design features into building plans with demonstrated and effective pay back periods.

Heard of speed dating? The Sustainable Industries Networking Session is modelled on the same idea.
No you wont have to go on a date afterwards but you will have the opportunity to meet with councils who have a question that a service or product could help them solve.
Green Businesses and/ or Industries are invited to host a topic table:
The most popular FAQs will form the basis of the table topics and businesses and industries are invited to host a table. That provides you with a chance to promote your services direct to councils through facilitated networking.
Associated Costs
Interested business and industries have the following options:
They can host a table at a cost of $500 (exc. GST)
This includes:
- Networking session
- Afternoon tea
- Invitation to attend the launch of Sustainable Industries Exhibition
- Invitation to attend the Welcome Reception hosted by the City of Melbourne
Entitlements also include:
- Recognition as a Sustainable Industries Networking Supporter in Conference materials and on the official on-site sponsorship acknowledgement board
- Promotional material brochure (size to be advised) added to the Green Stick
- Listed in Green Stick with names, contact details and website for delegate follow up.
You can also host a table and showcase your organisation by buying an exhibition booth space. Cost to host a table and have a booth is $4,000 (Exc. GST) (Cost based on shell scheme booth)

What's a Green Stick?
In keeping with the ‘green theme' all delegates will receive a data memory stick to provide an efficient and convenient method of retrieving important Conference information.
This saves paper by reducing the need for brochures and provides a permanent and reusable approach to information exchange.
Conference sponsors and Table Hosts can add information to the Green Stick prior to conference.
